Seven rooms in a house built of fir, in the Moieciu valley, twenty-two miles from Brașov. We keep the stoves lit until evening and breakfast comes from our own small farm. The walk up into the Bucegi begins at our gate.

Seven rooms, every one with its own bathroom
Prices are per room, per night, with breakfast included. They do not go up at weekends and they do not go up over the holidays. The price on this site is the price you pay.
Our kitchen, one long table
Eggs from the hens in the yard, cheese and telemea from the sheepfold up on Plaiul Merilor, bacon smoked here at the house, bilberry jam from berries picked last summer and bread baked the evening before. Served between 8:30 and 10:30 in the morning, at the long table in the dining room.
If you are setting off up the mountain at dawn, we will leave your breakfast ready the night before. Just tell us what time.
We cook one dinner a day, at 7:00 pm, from whatever is in the pantry: a ciorbă, a main course and something sweet. We are not a restaurant and there is no menu. There is what the lady of the house cooked that day.
Reception is the table in the hall, on the ground floor
We live in the same house as you, so we are around outside these hours too. The times below are when you can be sure of finding someone downstairs.
If you are arriving later than 10:00 pm, call us on the way and we will wait up for you, with the light on at the gate.
22 miles from Brașov, on the DN 73
Leave town on the DN 73 toward Râșnov and Bran. Pass the castle and keep going for two and a half miles, as far as Moieciu de Jos. There, at the junction by the village shop, the DN 73 climbs left toward Fundata. You go right, onto the valley road.
Four miles more through Moieciu de Sus, with the stream always on your left. We are the last house before the bridge, on the right-hand side: a carved wooden gate, with an apple tree cut into the gable. The road is paved all the way to the gate.
Climb the DN 73 over Fundata and come down into Moieciu. Just before the bridge in Moieciu de Sus, turn left; we are immediately after the turn.
The Brașov – Bran – Moieciu service stops in the middle of the village, half a mile from us. Give us a call as you board and we will fetch you from the stop by car.
We clear the yard and the last stretch of road ourselves. If a lot of snow has fallen overnight, call us before you set off. We will tell you honestly whether you can get up without chains.
